Our clinic is based at the Cheltenham Nuffield Hospital. All our patients will be interviewed and examined by one of our Consultants. A dedicated private breast care specialist nurse will also be present at your consultation. You are welcome to bring a friend or relative with you.

Routine tests such as state of the art digital mammography, ultrasound and needle biopsies for breast diseases can be performed at your first visit. Normally we would be able to see you, perform a mammogram, an ultrasound and needle test (if needed) in a single appointment lasting about an hour. We will usually have one of our two dedicated private specialist breast care nurses (Helen Rankin and Louise Bayntun) in the clinic at your visit (many private hospitals in the UK do not have their own dedicated breast care nurses and rely on assistance from local NHS specialist nurses).

More sophisticated tests such as CT, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and CT PET scans are available within a short period of time. Your test results will be reported by local expert Consultant Radiologists and Pathologists. If treatment is required, you will have the choice of being treated at the Nuffield Hospital, or returning to the NHS if you prefer. 

Individuals seeking advice about cosmetic breast surgery (Internal Bra, Breast Enlargement, Breast Reduction or Breast Uplift) are very welcome. If you are interested in breast enlargement, you can borrow some implants for a 'test-drive' to help you decide what size you would like to be. You will usually have the opportunity to talk with someone who has already undergone surgery. 

Patients requiring psychological support for cancer or cosmetic concerns can access Clinical Psychologists, led by Samantha Lindley, who has many years of experience dealing with cancer patients, breast problems and breast cosmetic surgery.
